Northern Nevada Railway #81
A goal of my '21 SW trip was to visit and photograph the Northern Nevada Railway shop in Ely Nevada. These are pics of the crew making final adjustments to #81, a steam locomotive that hadn't been in service for 65 years. I was there at 6am alone with the sunrise and spent the day taking pics. The last pics are of #81 rolling out of the shop under her own steam.

2016 trip to Cuba. Much of this trip was about Fidel. He died four days before we arrived. We experienced his memorial on the first day of the trip and his gravesite on the last day.
